Know the Signs of a Heart Attack

According to the Mayo Clinic, “A heart attack occurs when the flow of blood to the heart is severely reduced or blocked. The blockage is usually due to a buildup of fat, cholesterol and other substances in the heart (coronary) arteries.”

Also, obesity; family history; and a sedentary lifestyle, like driving a truck, increase a person’s risk of a heart attack. You must know how to recognize the symptoms of a heart attack and seek emergency assistance immediately. Read the information below and consult your physician if you think you may be at risk of a heart attack.
