VIDEO: Lessons Learned From a Road Team Captain

Great West recently had the privilege of hosting two drivers from the American Trucking Associations' America's Road Team. The drivers got a chance to show off their custom tractor-trailer and talk about the importance of professional truck drivers. 

We spoke with longtime driver James Ellis, who drives for Grammer Logistics in North Carolina. James has logged more than 1.5 million hours of safe driving. 

As an ambassador for the industry and safe driving, James shared a little about his life behind the wheel, life on the road, and safe driving practices.

"My mission is to help move America. As a professional truck driver, safety for me is the No. 1 key,"James said.
